Biden and the environment.

Arguably one of the most important things about the 2020 Presidential Election are the environmental/climate policies of both candidates. Trump's doesn't require much explanation because it is in short non-existant - it repeals policies enacted to protect the environment rather than putting knew ones in - and serves only to help corporations that do more harm to the environment than good. Biden on the other hand has a plan to better the environment and the climate that, in the long run, will serve to benefit every individual and cooperation in the United States.
Biden's plan, as stated on his campaign website, works to "ensure the U.S. achieves a 100% clean energy economy and reaches net-zero emissions no later than 2050", "rally the rest of the world to meet the threat of climate change", "Stand up to the abuse of power by polluters who disproportionately harm communities of color and low-income communities", and "fulfill our obligation to workers and communities who powered our industrial revolution and subsequent decades of economic growth" (BIDEN HARRIS, joebiden.com). The plan achieves these goals by helping to ensure a "historic investment in ... clean energy future and environmental justice, paid for by rolling back the Trump tax incentives that enrich corporations at the expense of American jobs and the environment", all of which helps every American, from a farmer in the midwest to a suburban family to someone that calls the city their home (BIDEN HARRIS, joebiden.com).  In short, Biden's climate plan is beneficial for the United States as a whole, not just its corporations or the wealthy. Our planet and the environment that it harbors must be preserved for future generations - and Joe Biden can (and should) be the President to do that.
